i don't know if this has been said but im glad, angels and airwaves were shockingly rubbish so its nice for them to put an end to that

I really don't think that blink will be as good as they were. they're getting soft in their old ages, and now theyve done the +44 and angels + airwaves thing i think itll be worse.

But thats just me, I like my proper punk. Don't like all this soppy whiny stuff. Why I can't stand 99% or indie bands hehe.

Proper angery tunes! - well they are too me.

And Pie... yeh, I agree, Last Train home, is a good tune, but it is on par with Last Summer. Not soo keen on Rooftops... although the lyrics do have a meaning

Angels And Airwaves biggest mistake was the amount of Hype Tom made about them. He kept saying 'this is the best music ever' and 'this is going to change music as we know it' so everyone was like 'oh wow acnt wait' then a trailer for the album was released, sounded good, looked good....album came out...BORING! was a huge flop. whereas +44 just said 'We're sticking to what we know and just elaborating on it, adding new instruments, methods and ways of playing them'. Their album came out and it was a huge success.
Cant't see Blink going back to make music like 'Cheshire Cat' and 'Budduh', they've matured, it was a different, and less talented, drummer back then, and Toms singing isn't Wailing.
+44's album was more like 'T.O.Y.P.A.J' and 'Enema of the state' than their last, un-titled album. Hopefully it'll be more like that.

If you do like 'Cheshire Cat' and 'Budduh' check out a band called 'Osker' rarely known, and broke up back in 2001. Released 2 albums both were really good then dis-banded. You'll do well to find a torrent, but they are on iTunes and you might possibly find the album 'idle will kill' on play or cd-wow or something.
