Hey,

Got a pair of corbeau buckets a while back second hand (not sure what model they are see pic). I got a couple of subframes with them - but they were used to fit it to mk1 (apparently). Can I get these to fit somehow by using different brackets or is it a matter of buying new subframes at a stupid price. I noticed also that these subframes are only sliding and need to be tilting to pass MOT?

In the third pic there you can see where the subframe was bolt to crossmember in the mk1 (apparently), by a bracket at the side. But looking at the brackets left in my '89 city (4th pic) after original set removal then is it poss to change these brackets? If not can anybody recommend a decent priced subframe that will fit - and must it be tiliting? I know nothing about fitting seats.

Carthy

there is a bit missing off your seat runners.

there should be 2 bars on the seat - one of which bolts to the original seat mount in the mini, the other on the back of the seat which hooks under the latching hoop on the floor. You have neither.

they should all come as part of a fitting kit from corbeau - mine did. so you might be able to get them to sell you some. I was lucky to go to corbeau in Hastings and have a deal with a very pretty nice lady :shifty:
