Currently in the process of converting a 69 Mini, to a MPI. My Mini is using discs under 10" wheels, and I want to keep it on 10's. The old driveshafts were the hardy spicer type, however I intend to use the new driveshafts from a 98 Cooper. Will the driveshafts from the 98 Cooper, fit into the hub's of the 69 car?

Yes there the same as long as there 'S' disc's and not the smaller 7" 998 cooper type.

What size are the 'S' discs and I'll go and measure them now. Knowing my luck they are going to be the smaller ones. Fingers crossed.

Measure the outside diameter of the disc, S disc's are 7.5" and copper disc's 7". Another quick way to tell would be what size nut is the hub nut ? Same size as the mpi and there S disc's (1-5/16") Smaller and there cooper disc's.

Thanks for your help, couldn't measure them properly as my Locking wheel nut key is in another garage! but measured from the rear and unfortunately I think they are going to be 7" - Couldnt measure the exact diameter, as the hub/driveshafts are in the way.

And I suppose Cooper S discs/hubs are a bit like Hens teeth ?

Easiest hubs to find, fitted to just about every mini since they went to 12" wheels, although not strictly S hubs. They are the same, some will need cleaning up a bit, to fit inside the S disc.
