Description of problem (please be as in depth as possible):

My clutch seems to be getting really stiff, as in, really difficult to push down, there seems to be resistance from the pedal when its at its highest point, and when its past that its fine.

but then this morning it didn't want to come off and instead of moving off it just chugged along with me just revving.


what could be causing this? its starting to get annoying now.


Any non-standard parts that might be involved with the problem?

..Have u tried spraying some WD40 on slave cylinder spring/ piston arm? sometimes it gets sticky, especially when its cold..
This problem would be due to a worn slave cylinder too, i dont know if its releted, but when i had a similar issue, soon the cylinder starts leaking oil, then i had to replace it.

whens the last time you replaced the clutch fluid ????
then theres you answer brake fluid in hydroscopic over time it absorbs water and looses effiency as the water rust the lines, pistons and means the brake fluid has a much lower boiling point
so in other words change the clutch and brake fluid, bleed the system then see if the problem persist!!
