It's not just minis, you get idiotic drivers in all manner of cars (though mostly bmws...) and they will still be twots to you even if you're in a mahoosive car!!

Might be because I live in London... :P

They do seem to think minis aren't worthy to be on the road, I took Freddie out on a 10 mile drive the other day after work and almost got taken out about 5 times because of idiots speeding up right behind my butt, then overtaking (even though I was doing the speed limit or a bit over), coming back in front and suddenly braking  Good idea hey when my brakes aren't as good as theirs. Worst thing was that my horn isn't working at the moment otherwise they'd have heard about it! :D

Like I said earlier, it's not just minis that they drive like fools around. We recently bought an audi a8, which is not a small car at all and we've had idiots cutting us up and trying to take us off at the lights because they're in the wrong lane. Not sure why they did this stuff :w00t: the 4.2 badge is still on.... :w00t: They're just retarded I guess and have no respect for road safety.

Haha i agree - near where i live there are traffic lights with two lanes, both go straight on and one goes to the left aswell. The amount of times i've left saxo's etc standing there and ive been straight off is ace. Its quality as people just think theres an old little mini bt then they are in for a shock at how fast and nippy they are :P

lol i love the feeling leaving of some1 behind :D

I think its quite funny, I'm still learning to drive and im naff at hill starts.. i always roll back then get going.. add the fact the handbrake is as good as a cheese slice, it really shocks drivers who get too close at traffic lights!
This isnt even in a mini, when we used to have patch it was even worse for being squished! theres a road leading into town which for some reason is thinner in one lane and people use it as an excuse to try and make you stop/mount the curb..

I just tend to use Mr tibs as a battering ram.. and so far its worked :D no ones bumped me as i tend to drive quite defensively and always slowing if someone tailgates :P

i had someone go in to the back of me the other day, so i get out to see what the damage was to find a nice dent in the boot. the guy tells me that he work in a car body shop and he will tap the dent out for me. so i said "ow no you don't mate thats a new boot on your insurance" he says " yeah but a new boot is the same price as your minis worth". WHAT A LOAD OF $%?* it goes to show that some people on the roads have no respect for minis, they maybe small old cars but they are loved by there owners. :D

It just goes to show what ignorant uneducated morons there are on the roads today. Because a Mini is one of the most important car designs of all time and that's just for starters.

It's such a shame that as a nation we can't celebrate all that is good about being British and what we achieved.

Last person to leave Britain, please turn out the lights?

No, just mount a rocket launcher on the top of your Mini. I'm sure the Police will understand your reasons for exterminating anyone who cuts you up.

Exactly the same things happen to me.

Its either be nice and look and wave and let you in places.

Or its right up your chuff and squeezing you on roundabouts.
I swear im just gunna take a day off work and buy a naff old volvo and just wait for someone to try and cut me up.

Audi's and Volvo's (the big 4x4 ones)seem to be the biggest *melons* at the moment. I tend to slow right down and turn round in my seat to give them the good old fashioned 2 finger salute or bit of a brake test, My rear arches and valance were rotten so needed sorting anyway. i'll not be doing it once all the welding's done. I don't think they do it intentionally, it's just they feel safe in their little bubble, listening to Radio 2 or chatting on their phone.

We don't appear to have a police service around here, that's why people drive so badly because they know they will get away with it!

Idunno, are you sure it isn't so much the mini but more so the drivers?

I've noticed lately a shocking amount of SHOCKING drivers...

and i'm also wondering if all this economic 'credit crunch' business is making people more stressed out and it's coming out on the road as people are worrying more and taking their attention and eyes off the road...

or maybe they are so angry that they get even more annoyed when they see a happy driver in their happy car! (minis!) :D

I have to agree about BMW's, they should issue a product recall because I dont think indicators were fitted as standard nor are the mirrors fit for purpose.
