are you going to mod the intercoolers end tanks? might be worth taking it to an ally welder so the ends are facing in? just thinking of packaging and pipe work is all
tight packaging with the turbo there too, should be very good if thought out well

will shall see, the IC needs to move back , so hoping to just pop some 90deg hoses onto it .. but if it comes to it, yea mod the ends.
I am no turbo expert .. so all a big learning curve

welded the two T peices together ,once i ground them a bit to match the ports :
Then ground down the other side of the T to allow for one of the elbows to line up with the port :
i kept seam welding each peice , so when i was finished i knew it was not going to move all over the place :
i have now tacked it to the flange , and tonight i will weld the T3 flange on , then the turbo should bolt up under its own weight...

going to take more than one evening to fit this ...(alan , could not find the instructions in the box :| )
ripped rear subframe out :
started cleaning the beam up , will fit the boxes inside the car first , then turret the archs .. and then see if it fits

ok evo , hows this looking :
crude is my middle name , tacked some strips of metal to the T3 flange :
this helps for the curve of the tube , and less "fly fishing" welding
Then cut a small hole in the manifold to let the gasses out thanks for the tip alan
This all the got welded together :
test fit :
All that is left to do is weld to the exhaust flange , allthough i will be getting my friend to do this as he has a larger welder.
as i only had a few minutes left , i thought i would play with the 3 inch down pipe :

popped round my mates (thanks Jim) who tigged up the manifold :
and the down pipe to the clamp ring :
all done , maybe some high temp paint to make it look better .. but sure that will burn off LOL
got a some metal to make a new slam panel , this will help with IC clearance. need to find a honda rad i think , as that will fit nice.
picked up a small alternator as well , but will make a bracket for that once the engine is back out.
cleaned up the 2nd hub and slapped some paint on it ..
if i dont get this back on 4 wheels next week i am behind !!
