The bands Saving Aimee and Enter Shikari both come from my home town, St. Albans. Apparently Steven Hawking went to school there, and one of the guys from The Kinks teaches music at one of the schools. Les Ferdinand lives just down the road from St Albans, Bricket Wood I think, I met him a few times when I was working in the newsagents next to where his sons footy team met every sunday before their matches. Then Jimmy Hill, Ian Holloway, John Motson all used to live here, and Gilberto Silva lived here when he was at Arsenal, as their training ground is only down the road.

Alistair Mcgowan was born and lived in my village! thats about it for Evesham i think! Richard Hammond lived close to cheltenham though, thats only bout 20 mins away! Zara Philips is always in snowshill pub! thats right by broadway! i think there are a fair few famous people in the cotswolds! wako jacko almost brought a house in broadway!!!!

When I was a lot younger, I lived round the corner to Matthew Corbett (Sooty & Sweep) I was friends with his kids,, used to go round there a lot to play!

Later in life I worked i a bar in Farnborough (Hants), we used to get Leslie Granthams brother in there on a more than regular occurrence... really nice bloke (RIP). there was also a chap 'bragging' that he was Gary Glitters cousin (same name... probably full of smelly stuff from a bull)... bet he's not bragging now!!


And even later on, I dated Wayne Dobsons' (magician) assistant... (briefly, I hasten to add)


According to my Mum.... she used to drink with the likes of Dudley More and Peter Cooke... and Marty Wilde, up in a place called Camberley is Surrey.
