The attitute towards other members is a bit uncalled for, and as said the swear filter is there for a reason. I am a diehard mk1 owner, but i
and fpasm, we're here offering you advice, even a mod has tried to help, i'd be thrilled if a mod would offer me some advice like that, after all, this is the reason for TMF
The only acceptable mods imo are : audio, the ease the engine breathes, electrical..
and thats about it...
I'm sorry Mein Fuhrer.
different cultures, different opinions, different ideas - it's what makes the mini so popular worldwide.
EDIT: Think this post has lost all usefullness... think we should just let it die off now

If you need to find a way to justify yourself-
Im sure when your car was first built, things like twin carbs, performance exhausts and the like were quite common place, so instead of keeping the mini 100% original, keep it 100% period modifications?
Like said, if you ever want to go back, jsut un bolt the carbs, and put your single one back on... sorted

sorry but..
if u want to keep a car original, keep it original, if want to go mod, go using period modifications, but cant see why u have to insult a modded car when in another post you say something like 'i want a mini shell to fit a motorbike engine'. Jealousy?
