If i raise the boost to 8PSI on my engine, will i have to play with the fuel pressure regulator? or does that just get left?
ive booked into a rolling road on tuesday morning and will be getting it setup for 8PSI.
Im running a 28cc ported head, 12cc dish pistons, 1.5 rollers and a 2" single box system. Standard Actuator and needle.
I have an Apexi Electronic boost controller and was playing with the idea of running 6psi until 3k and 10psi afterwards. would this be a feasable option do you think?
My deck to piston crown is 0.070mm and head gasket is 0.035mm. Standard stroke, +40 pistons (MRSP)
Raising the boost, Part 2 ?

are you running an intercooler? if so why not make it 12 psi?
if you're not then just stick to 10 and it should be fine with a good setup.
you'll probably be lucky if you make 6psi before 3k in any gear except 4th i reckon dude, mine doesn't really come onto boost untill 3k. If you're after twin stage then cap it untill about 4k and it should be fine. i personally just run the same boost all the time and use my foot to decide how much i want to use
and nope you wont have to change the pressure reg if you up the boost, just set it at 3.5psi at idle and it does the rest for you

Buds right, you'll not see 6psi below 3k, especially if you're still on a T3. Mine only makes a couple of psi below this and i'm running a T2.
If you're going to the expense of a rolling road session why not run at least 10psi ? otherwise you'll only have to have it set up again when you want to turn the boost up.
Out of interest which rolling road are you taking it to ?
Phil.

Im going to AP Motors in Plymouth. They seem highly respected by the GT-R owners around here.
Ok, Ok you have twisted my arm, Hmmm 10 or 12psi... *drool*. I am running an intercooler yes.
