evening all!!

whilst out in the car last night i developed a bit of a problem........ i was about to shift down the gears and notice i couldnt. As i clicked it into gear the engine would stall. checked the clutch operating control, all was well. I managed to strip the clutch tonight and found the inner spring ring (sits inside the very inner thinest friction ring) to be in the wrong position! some idiot had built it up wrong!

Anyway now its all apart, is it a good idea to replaced OEM friction and steel plates or would anyone else sudgest after market plates or kits to use? Whats this barbet spring conversion kit like?

I looked at slipper cluthes but in all honestly the car isnt thraped everywhere and it seems a waste of £600+ for something which would rarely be in the conditions to be used

cheers
