You know when your driving mini, because when your out driving it and you see another mini, you get giddy and start waving and flashing hoping they will see you!
They are all great and true!
*guilty of that*

Yeah i hate it when people say, a car is a car... especially when its a decent car... they buy cars because they have more money than sense!
am only 17, but i already discovered that you can't enjoy new cars like the classics, specially minis!

You know you own a mini when you keep taking parts of your car into work to fix or repair them.

Why isn't there a cocktail called "A Fast Idle Screw" ?
There might be soon - any suggestions of ingredients folks?

100% true!!! im 18, il admit, when i was 15 i wanted a car, and i wanted to mod it with body kits, lod arse exhausts etc etc! now i like to think that i have better taste! prefer to see an old MG convertable to a porshe boxster! or an old lotus carton to a mondeo ST etc same with minis, i would rather sit and look at the little differences each mini owner has made, to sit and look at all the pointless mods a chav has made to a Saxo, that not only makes him look like a chav! but slow him down through all the extra weight from body kits, sub boxs etc and back pressure he has lost in his dustbin!

Does anyone else know the "smell" of their Mini? There is a particular smell that only minis seem to have, under the bonnet, of engine oil, water and petrol, with a bit of dust, all rolled into one. If you ever try to wash it off it lingers for ages.

When you drive along the motor way and people drive past you smiling, then slow down and wait for you to overtake so they can have another look
At me or the Mini I dunno

Guilty, I usually use my push bike around town, I've nearly given myself a heart attack on a couple of occasions chasing after Minis to catch them up at traffic lights for a closer look.
Your neighbours, try and pass off all their old car bits on you when they clean out the garage for the first time in 20 years.
by the way, no 4 stroke needs back pressure - they do need exhaust gas velocity however, so you can still laugh at the dustbin exhausted chaviots.

A fast idle screw cocktail- a blend of rusty water, old engine oil, sweat, blood, and petrol......

the inside of my car smells like no other car my mates have, my uncle described it as "the old car smell" as apposed to the new car smell people enjoy, i prefer my old car smell thanks
