80 x 12 = 960 x 52 = 49920 it isn't that far out given its an ad I presume.

I forgot to calculate leap years in which would make it pretty spot on actually, some one obviously look a bit of time before they posted it.

I think the whole gist of the sign is that you buy a new car for X to save Y when your present car would cost less overall.

Surely if you’ve got 80000 pound, dollars or yen to buy an electric car, it means you’ve got 80000 to buy a petrol car so that to my mind cancels each other out so it’s down to the running costs.
It’s meat pie vs veggie pie all over again. In the end it’s all food it just depends on your personal tastes. But do you have it with gravy or tomato sauce that’s the big question.
