Roo, I seriously doubt that the prices will be changed. The IMM committee fixed the price at £55 a few years back and it most definitely will not have a price hike now as many people will not buy tickets if the price increases due to it being unfair! Any price change has to be voted on at the chairmans meeting held at each IMM
I'm going on what i've been told by a few other TMFers. There is an early pricing... a middle pricing from a certain date up until the show and then on the day price.
If it is still possible for prices to go up i'd rather pay the £3 booking fee and get the ticket now than wait and be hit by the potential price hike. In this day in age with the recession, everyone still putting prices up etc you can't trust it to stay at the same price at all, especially if there are 'rumours' it will happen.

The closing date for entries to the IMM will be 31 May 2009.
After this date visitors may still book in, subject to available space, but will be charged a premium of £5 for late entry. Bookings after 1 July 2009 will be charged a further £5. The reason for the premiums is that we will have to keep contacting food companies and other companies that are involved in the running of the weekend to increase their capacities.
so £55 now
£60 after the 31st of May
£65 after 1st July

Thanks for your help on this, but I'm going to run the risk of a ticket on the day.
Hope all goes well for you too, Helen.
