Just a quick question, how long would it take to replace a single side wheel bearing if i take it to garage? Becoz i think my front driver side bearing had worn, squeeking and clunking.

thx a lot

I'd say under 2 hours.

I would expect in the region of 1 hour labour and around £30 for the bearing kit. The best approach would be to ask the garage of your choice to estimate before you proceed. This figure could easily be longer depending on the state of the vehicle.

Get the kit from minispares and fit it yourself if your feeling brave. Here's a rough idea of what you'd need to do.
