would you guys say its alrite to start off by wire brush off the surface rust/flaking paint, then prime the area, and then paint it. What paint should i use, preferably black, cheap and something i can brush on? After that, ill then use the aerosole waxoyl.



After brushing off the flakey rust you should treat the area with rust killer. Not that Its a permanent fix, then prime and paint over. Once sills start to rust there is no stopping them though i'm affraid....

oh right:( any idea what sort of rust protection i should go for? Just some stuff from halfords in a aerosole can or a paint like substance!?

You want one of them gloopy gel things you paint on, follow the instructions. Jenolite or such.
