North Devon Grand Tour

It looks like a fun event but at £20 per person seems a little high compared to others. I know its for a good cause but I don't think any of the entry money goes to the charity, as you have to raise £50 as well. (can't see anything on the website or on the application form) Therefore, it seems a bit steep at £40 per mini (based on 2 adults) compared to other charity events like L2B which is only £14 per car and you get a lovely pack including a t-shirt.

Its hard to explain how good the event is unless you actually go, everyone is there for fun, and ultimately to help the hospice out.

If you only do one mini event a year, make sure it's the Grand Tour!!!!! It may not be the biggest but it sure is the BEST!!!

I think the entrance fee is fair as things have to be paid for but one thing that isn't paid for is the Marshalls theyall help out for nothing (I know as I do it) and I can quite happily say that noe of them would want paying.
TH LGT can not be compared to L2B in anyway in my opinion the LGT beats L2B by milesyes there are more cars on L2B but when you leave Crystal Palce moore often then not you won't see another Mni until you get to Brighton but on the LGT we travel in Convoy and there are hundrens/thousends of people lining the streets waving cheering and giving money to the collection buckets. I have only done L2B once and don't think I will do it again but the LGT I will do for as long as I can it is addictive you do not stop smiling all weekend.

definately going again next year, l2b is a great run too, but the whole atmosphere of the grand tour makes the l2b seem insignificant.

Think it will be interesting to see the LGT from a different view.
