Well i bought my 3rd mini a few weeks ago there. Its a standard (bar different wheels and spots) Paul Smith Mini. I am someone for leaving a special edition standard but I want to do something with this car. It would be easilly enough converted back to standard if i want.

What are anyones thoughts on this. Ive been thinking about sportspack/gp 5 arches and 10 inch wheels. possibly green bonnet stripes and green pinstripe on the side. Maybe even a Mk1 style front end. The interior will be standard whatever happens

Anyone got any other ideas. Would love to hear peoples opinions.

Also i have a twin DTM exhaust and hate it. Want to go for a side exit twin pipe - probably an RC40 twin side or Janspeed DTM. Thoughts please?

Thanks in advance, Rich

how about like a wide, low, MK1 style.

deep dish 10inch wheels
Miglia arches
fit a set of high-lows and go as low as you can (even tubbing rear arches if you like)
MK1 grill
Smooth rear boot lid, posibly internal hinges (keep origional boot)
mabe de-bumperd, but thats kinda ireversable.
no badges
green bonnet and pin stripes
RC40 Twin DTM

sounds kinda chavvy now ive read it back lol.

you could go retro rally style. lots of lights, cooper s copy wheels with wide grp5 or 6 arches, run it standerd height
single side exit RC40

this is hard lol, i have tooooo many idea's.

lol it is tough. Dont want another rally type. My old almond was on ST arches, chrome trim, 10 inch GB's and reverse rims, spots, bonnet straps, door squares, rossetes and centre exit rc40. want a kinda retro modern i think

I wouldnt call it chavy. lol. The miglias i think are a little too wide. 3.5 inches is prob the most id go for. either the gp 6 or sports packs. after having the 10's on the old car, i want them again.

just don't fit sportspacks you have to cut the arch away so it will never be an easy job to put right again. i surgest wood and picket archs , 10" mini lights that look like the original paul smith rims, P700 headlamps,mk2 rear lamps, maybe mk1 front and as low as you can get it. so its a retro take on the paul smith design,

glassic clear indicators, mk1 style grill, but the tin type one and spray it bdy colour and have the chrome mustache, slam it, over riders,

Not really a fan of the idea of 10" and sports packs to be honest, but never seen it either, so i dont knwo what it looks like.

i have never had a stock mini back in the 90s i ripped apart a designer and chucked all the designer bits away to make a stripped out racer. i really regret that now. thats why im restoring my countryman to original to make it up to the mini scene

Somebody near me used to have a smiffy and he fitted sportspack arches with some black/chrme 13's which looked quite smart. Sort of gave the sportpack look whilst retaining the original colours.

If 13's are too big for you a nice wide set of 12's could work to.
