I'm not trying to *yellow human water* on anyones fire here, and i know its his car, but for the love of god its so rare!. There where only ever 300 in this country to begin with (when it was launched) and theres bound to be less now...
Please dont ruin a rare car.
He's already said he's gonna keep it so it can go back to standard at any time. And to be honest he's not exactly gonna ruin it... look how it is now, looks ruined to me with that bloody great exhaust scraping along the road

Subtle mods will make all the difference and not detract from the rarity of the car - go for it.

Thats what i'm on about. People have suggested mk1 conversions, sportspacks and miglias. All of that stuff is a pain in the rear to convert back from..."He's already said he's gonna keep it so it can go back to standard at any time. And to be honest he's not exactly gonna ruin it"

Change that, and i will stab you.

It's a lovely LE Rich and if it was mine I doubt I'd want to change a single thing except the exhaust. But it's your car so you can do what you like to it! If you're itching to modify it a little it'd be wise to not do anything too irreversible, but I think you know that already!
How about a new bumper and overiders with corner bars kit on front and rear? They'd be a fairly easy and non-permanent mod that would give you a retro look. I think green bonnet stripes would look horrendous but that's just my opinion (sorry!) but lime green pin stripes might look quite nice I suppose.
It really is lovely just as it is though

I was thinking of putting a supercharger and a webasto sunroof on it. But talking to the other half the other night she says I should keep it as original as possible and have a supercharger and webasto on my next mini. Which is a bit of a result as I didn't think she would ever let me have another one! Watch this space for my project thread!
Here are some pictures of other PS I saw at Himley, I took the pictures because IMO I think PS should never look like this! The whole idea of the green items on the car is that they were hidden from view! (ie Boot lining, rocker cover, glove box)
Sorry if i offend anyones car on the forum!!!

I like the pinstripe idea, are you thinking the bright Paul Smith Green?
I think it's lovely how it is! Spend your money on lots of lovely polishes and get super shiney!!
