The lights don’t give enough of light so I thought to fit the LED tail light bulb conversion kit, but I do not know for sure if it fits.
One of the safety issues with classic Minis is the dim tail lights - lighting technology has come a long ways since the cars were introduced. Here is a simple way to brighten your tail lights and improve safety. Our LED tail light bulb conversion kit dramatically improves visibility from the rear, day and night. LED 'bulbs' are ultra-long lasting and durable - you may never need to replace your tail lights again! Sold per pair.
Fits the Mk I saloon, 3-screw style tail lights/lamps only. Negative ground cars only.
Kind regards G-J

have you got a link from the ebay shop you bought them from zacherius? i have searched but i am a little untrusted to the other ebay shops that sell similiar types.

I bought mine ffrom VIRTUAL VILLAGE ( Ebay Shop ) based in China but were delivered in a week which is about the same as most stuff from ebay !
I've just asked the missus however as I paid £2.99 for mine, but they are now all looking about £12.99. She told me I paid £2.99 and about £6.00 postage !!!! ooops.
However, the price may have gone up, but i'd buy them again. My tail/stop light was dim and "orange", this bulb is no bigger than standard bulbs, but gives a perfect RED glow. I have clear rear lights so these were perfect.
