Just joined the forum and read through this... Wow!

Kudos to you!

I know I'm echoing other peoples views but I wish I had had the warewithall to have done this at your age and wish such skill.

Keep up the updates! :w00t:

i painted mine green to but i am sorry to admit i spraycanned it...(just for now i promise, when i'm rich ill get it properly painted, in reality i really need something to drive)

can't get to my chain block from the roof of the garage at the moment so going to try (oh god) to put engine on subframe and lift the shell over the top haha... yes maybe i am a rough b*stard

pics of my mini's progress are in my rebuild thread

hopefully ready by new years.

Its nearly there!!

Loadsa little bits done, you know, those 10 minute jobs that take all day.

Least I've done it proper, all new nuts, bolts, screws, washers, gubbins everywhere. Im thinking if I do it properly now, I wont have to do it again and it'll be reliable.

Got all the electrics working. Bar the heated rear screen (seems to be no feed?) and no horn as yet ( I maybe, possibly, probably, more than likely, taped the horn wire into the rest of the loom when I re-tapped the loom. woops.)

Got the new exhaust on yesterday, Hi-lo's and new knukles in the front today.

Just got to plumb the radiator in, fill it with water, few filters, new points, put new plugs, leads etc on. Ready to fire up. Then hopefully an M.O.T.

Yey.
