Well i got back from the ring yesterday and let me just say " what a blooooody great weekend...

I got there early friday morning and started setting up me tent, me and me mate mark done that at 9:30 then we hit the german beer... :nugget:

The Brit lot started to roll in about 12, ive never smiled so much, just meeting all the guys and girls was great...made my face ache!!

Let me just note i have never met such nice and funny people...

The campsite site was simply the nuts, the weather was over 80° everyday, the friendliness and beer was flowing super...

And as for the lap of mini honour well what can i say!! 8 o clock in the morning you have just about 50 minis setting off in to the sunset round the CRAZY ( and i mean CRAZY!! ) nürburgring...hill like 20% up and down, 13 miles of hair raising stuff ( bearing in mind i have no hair )

Let me just add To all the folk i met there!! thank you VERY much from the bottom of my sump...

I will be seeing you all next year without a shadow of a doubt...

Well done all the organisers, Marksmini, Marksminibetterhalf, Brawlyrox, Che and falk!! and all the rest well done...

And thanks for all the gift, i actually came home with 800 PG tips, 3 very excellent dirty books, pork pies, trifle mix, custard creams, ton of salad cream, 14 bags of walkers prawn cocktail crisp...and much more!!!

..and for all of those who could not make it this year!! get your name down for next years trip!! because this is the bes´t mini run you will ever dooooooo!!!

Tell us more, who was fastest and who broke their mini and were there any other dramas/moments of excitement????

welll i cant really remember ( i was VERY drunk ) who it was but someones mini engine bay caught on fire at the entrance of the camping site...

Dont really know whos mini was faster because we had a NO OVERTAKING rule at the ring run...was the safest...

I know some of the guys went in ringmini mini for a trip around the track...nothing under 150kmh there, not even on the bends...

The whole eekend was exciting, everyone had a REALLY good time, the food and beer was going down VERY well...

A german mini went in a ditch up the road from the camping site and flipped, total right off i heard!! :nugget:

hey-I was there too and now, i am in the english forum- yeah- I liked this meeting very much, and next year i'll be there again

It was james's mini that started burning, but that was fixed by 12 o'clock in the evening
