iv been told that b4 you put lacquer on ur surpost 2 sand the colour down first :s is this right?

i hav done 3 coats of lacquer 2day. is this enough? if so is 24 hrs enough tym 2 leave it b4 i rebuild it and put it back on the car? im pleased wiv how its come out il gt a pic soon

nt yet but there r connections in the glove box (i think) an iv gt 2 front speakers in the front an 2 6x9s in the bak. without a head unit will these need declearing on my insurance an if they do will it make a diffrence if i gt a head unit?

Thats what it looks like to me as well. The old style aerial connector.
by the way foxy it would be better for you and the other TMF members if you post individual threads for your questions and problems, will get more view and attention then. At the moment all people see is a new member thread added too and may not bother checking what else has been added. Just helping

Gutted it failed but not as bad as i thought:
Fails:
-Split subframe mount
-Exhaust hanger (should hav checked)
-Wiper motor
-Faulty brake lights stayin on
Advisory:
-Seatbelt fluff??
-A few suspension bearings need greasing
Getin fixed an free retest on friday

sounds like the edge of your seat belt is feathering somewhere, and if there is a massive amount of force on this area it could tear!
