Just got hold of jonspeed - they only have some part worn ones in stock

Cheers Matt, i didn't think of midlands wheels. I just gave them a call and they have plenty in stock he said, but are £42.99. Thats abit pricey isn't it? Suppose if they are getting hard to get hold of they would be abit more money. Maybe that's why they have alot instock :) Not sure what to do now though...

edit: beaten to it lol. Minispares are advertising them at £36 inc vat, but are out of stock according to the website

Yeah it is a little pricey, you still have to pay to get them fitted as well!
have you tried somewhere like brittania tyres ect.
how about black circles?

Did you lot pop into the retro rides meet? i got there just after nine. most cars were heading off so i guess i was a little late. Some nice motors there though. We should try and go along to the next one.
There was alot of standing water on the A45, went into it and sat there spinning the wheels at 70mph till i got through it.... think i need new front tyres soon.

we left the RR meet about 845 and did the country route about to warwick - was a good run back via henley.

the meet is at beckeets farm ion the A435, signposted off junction 3 M42 toward birmingham. its every 2nd tuesday of the month during summer, 730 onwards. next one is 11th august.

catch you about or sort out the leamington lot coming up to one of your meets

Easy, got off the motorway and was a sign post for becketts farm on the roundabout, quick blast down the dual carriageway and it was just before the roundabout.

James, i'm having A008's, got 2 left over from last time i bought some.

I'm still up for this and have some spares seats if anyone needs a lift.

Had a front blow out on the M42 today after some debris fell off the lorry infront! Instant puncture so wrestled it to the hard shoulder and was waiting around for an hour for the RAC to come out. I'm gonna have to buy a new tyre at minispares.

James how did that happen to your car?, that totally sucks man!!. I've started to get parts for the restore now, things will start to get interesting around mid august when i have the new floor put in finally :D. I'm keeping low on my interior colour scheme, if it works its going to look quite neat i hope.

Hope everyones is alright, i havent been able to get internet access so plus i've been working (placement year out from coventry). I'll start up a new topic soonish when i take some pics and keep you all posted. Touchwood everything should be done early next year, with a target of a supercharger before L2B next May ;)

Yup  Also, on the way back from the minispares meet a stone must have hit my p/s headlamp as there was a hole in it - slightly larger than a 2p coin. Not having much luck at the moment. hey ho, i picked up a cylinder head for my conversion.... :D

I will have to pop down yours aug sometime :P

Whey, thanks rich. Its not too bad here in oxford(currently finishing my lunch break), really enjoying my time here. I've spotted a few old skool mini in the car park that look great and there is also on that i always walk past as i'm walking to work in the mornings. Red cooper, in mint condition, it has all the stickers from L2B.

Hmmmm cylinder head yummy!, what conversion are you doing now its been a while since i have spoken to you. I'm so tempted to one but determined to stick to the supercharger. There is one lad who has one here at the plant who has done a 16V head conversion, very nice :(.

I'll be able to train it up everywhere as the mini is off the road, am selling my 2 clock dashboard on the forum, i may lower the price but we'll see how it goes i guess.

It sucks how i'm missing all the mini meets and runs :(, i want to meet everyone.

I have my old back box, LCB and downpipe. The Y piece is abit rusty so you would have to buy that separately. This old Y peice has been hammered onto my downpipe, but i could grind that off for you. It's in boston though, although you're not *that* far away.

Warning, it is :teehee: loud >_<
