I have had loads of work and things to do but yesterday afternoon i finally got the engine out. I ordered my metro turbo 4 pot vented calipers and disks and got a fibreglass front end (still not sure weather to fit it or not.

The subframe looks like it will fit like a dream, i held it up today.

One query i have though, with the new coil overs i have (they sit where the shocks would go) should i leave the standard rubber crap in aswell. i only say this because i was wondering how string the top mounting for the shock, could it take the full punishment for the car?
if anyone could help let me know.

I doubt im going to be able to get alot done with the weather looking like this.

I managed to get off my suspension arms and need new bushes and the like.
My breaks should arrive tommorrow, then i can start piecing it all back together on the new subframe.

This first picture just shows how i managed to get the engine out with out an engine crane. if anyone wants the engine or subframe i am probably willing to sell them.

Yeah. It looks luke the same subframe. It'll be good for me to read up that topic.
I got the metro turbo 4 pots and vented disks. Pictures to follow. I need to get some new bushes and I can start putting the stuff on the subframe.

We'll e about the insurenece, im 19, it will rake me a god while to get the car how i want it so i hope it will go down. Im not expecting it to be less than 2000.

Anyway, exams (peice of *yellow human water*) over and i have done a bit. sorry i havent posted for a while.

i wasnt sure which pictures i should uplaoad so i have done some random ones.

i have cleaned up the subframe and re painted it since these pictures. ill get round to making it rolling tomorrow and then i can take it to my mates garage for a re-spray. (if/when he has time)

but until then i need to start on the re-wiring.

Hi

Anymore progress

i would live to say yes but because of uni and having two jobs to pay for it I'm finding it hard to get the time. I have a heater in the car for the winter but realistically I won't be able to get alot done over the winter. To be honest I won't be able to get insured till I'm around 21 anyway so i'm in no rush and I want to do it all properly. :shifty:

But thanks for the interest.
