I got some U Pol seam sealer for Dominic's boot, and I thought it was really good stuff

Saying that I've never used seam sealer before in my life

And I begrudged paying £14.99 for a litre tin when I only used two scoops :)

And there goes the mis-conception that Northeners are tight!!!!!

Oi!! Tight is not the term we like to use..

"Restrictive allocation of expenditure" is much more sophisticated >_<

i got a big tub of teh fantastic for my min and it made debumpering a breeze, another piece of advice i have for the aplication process i found out by accident when i could not find the applicator. remember cassette tape boxes? use the side that the tracklist went into, has a great grip, firmness, size and edge. goes on lovely.

I tried getting some U-Pol Fantastic and the company (Jawel in Birmingham) sent me a tub of U-Pol Easy-1. When I spoke to them the guy swore that the 2 products are the same and it is only a marketing ploy! >_<

Can anyone confirm this before I open the tin and find myself £20 down for no reason.

you can make your own version of dolphin glaze if you want, just mix 50% regular filler with 50% resin, mix together vigorously and presto - dolphin glaze like alternative for 1/2 the price.

martin isnt this whats commonly called Milkshake mix in the Car audio circles. just remember to add the hardener after you've mixed both parts of filler and resin together.

Hahaha that's quality. And also total bullsh!t. They are totally different products. Easy1 is for initial shaping and filling large areas, Upol Fantastic is much finer, but can be used for larger areas or final finishing. And agreed, it is the best product on the market. The best stopper being Evercoat Rage, but saying that you rarely need stopper with Fantastic. I always thin it down with a little resin, goes on like a dream, and no pinholes. I find it's sometimes a little thick without resin.
