i think its a good idea.. it'd be useful when you've gotta check something quickly.. etc.. also its unlikely you'd be able to back it up on to your computer because it wouldn't (well shouldn't for the sake of copyright infringement) be a .pdf but rather a stand alone program and you can 'add on' extra manuals (its probably how its being done to be honest) you obviously wouldn't use it if your doing a full blown operation on the car.. but for knowing how to do somethings having it right there would be genius.

you can config anything u buy on a ipod so it will work on anything. u just gotta no what your doing,

Unlike most haynes books a book about ipods will be out of date after a year with new models being released.
without constant updates is not much good as no-one will buy it.

I really doubt many new models of 'our' mini are going to be released.
