hi there i need some one to help me out of a tricky spot my mini is lacking in attention . i just dont have the time at moment to find out a tuning problem , could be timing could be fuel . i know the answer . if you dont have time then dont own one , but this isnt my first or only mini. and i do normaly do everything my self. but i just dont have time...babys and all that seem to take up every moment,,

so back to the question do any of you know of a good mobile tuner the engine is ...

1380 longman engine..
276 cam
webber
h/l rocker 1.5
lighten and balanced..
last r/r printout was around 105-flywheel ..68 at wheels ...

its just running awful at moment ....

It needs a rolling road, no one will get it right without one

i know it the same question again...but there must be someone out there it just hardly any garages can work on these cars any more...

Maybe check your local Yellow Pages, I managed to find a brilliant local tuner who just comes round does the timing and sets the carb up.

Yes, it's not perfect and when I get some £££ up together I will put it on the rollers - but until that point it's more than good enough. It's done 5,000 miles on a stock AAU needle, just set up by a mobile tuner.
