if you look at the R1 you will see the water is used to cool the oil, this will not help the high temp.
if you cool the oil on its own the water is no longer stressed by the oil temp.
I dont thing over cooling of the oil is going to be a problem.
an Adapter for the R1 is drawen up its finding machine time now.
