since my show me your dead mini's has been a bit of a hot topic on killing mini's
and this is where all the used spares come from lets see how many squeaky clean mini owners there are

and this means anything second hand weather it be a choke cable nipple or a roof

I have brought and sold loads of mini parts

dont be shy as I know the results should be 100% at worst 99% of us have

I dont really see your point, as loads and i mean loads of spares are just parts taken of a full roadworthy mini... where they have brought new replacement parts and even the new replacement parts are sold on as second hand...

Personally i feel hardly any of the second hand parts are of scrap/dead minis, but off minis that have been sold on as upgrades have been made.

I actually agree with Tom, I've sold a load of spares on here and fleabay and I haven't broken a single mini to do it.

Its just stuff you aquire and then dispose of when the garage gets cluttered or you need some dough.

Now when did i say ALL the mini "tat" as you call it sold on ebay and here is from upgraged?

I also havent broken a single mini and iv sold hundreds of mini parts on as im sure many others have...

So if you think ALL parts are off dead minis i think you need to have a little re-think, maybe even pm a few people selling bits on this very forum for example and i bet you dont get many replies saying that the bits have come of a mini thats going to be scrapped. I bet at the very least 80% of them arent of dead minis.

I'd say 20% from upgrades as dont forget minis have been being broken for ever so there are still quite a lot of bits floating around
and ok not all of the tat but I am sure you catch my drift

not a light lense grill end ,wheel nut wiper arm ,etc cause I doubt anyone who has owned a mini for any period of time has not brought a single second hand part

I've bought plenty of second hand bits, broke a few as well. I've found the best thing to do though is strip the shell, ebay it all and sell the shell seperately with the V5, even if its a rusty heap - people love a challenge You get much more money for a whole shell than you would scrap as well.

I scrapped 2 1/2 Minis just for spares

It's all about eating and getting eaten. One Mini dies (they were all beyond resurection, body wise) to give live to another. I can't see anything wrong with that.
