Just for a bit of info, if your engine is a standard overbore size so between +0.020 and +0.060 so between 1293cc and 1330 you don't need to declare it as a mod because it's a manufactures STD overbore size.
Are you sure about that?
you might not have to declair it as a modification, but you will have to declair it as a manufacture's optianal extra at the very least.

It's not an optional extra, it's a STD overbore size from the Manufacurer so it's not an optional extra.

ok so on that basis pete - if i bought a saxo vtr and fitted a 1.6 16v engine would i have to declare that, as citroen built the vts?
im sure not delcaring you have a 1330 instead of a 1275 would be grounds enough for most insurers to void all insurance??
not causing an arguement, i'm just curious as i know your an insurancea ssesor.
