hi i just wundered if there are any other number plate lights you can use because i dont like the big one on the mini's

mk1 style is a good option.

well you could go for a mk1/2 light housing, those bolts with the lights in..

or something that i;ve just literally thought of, you could create a one off boot lid. so take off your existing 'taxi light' housing and create a slim line moulded version with some LEDs in it, smoothed and sprayed body colour?


quite like that idea myself!

998Dave - is that just a mk3 onwards boot with MK1 gubbing?? thuoght about this was unsure how it would look.. . to me . . looks good!!

I use 4 small LED's bolts. Quite discrete and have never had a problem in MOT time with the plate not being lit enough :D

zebidee has the best idea . i have led bolts on the panel below the boot lid and my no. oplate moved down to the bottom corner

Saw some in our local Halfrauds in last week, but they were blue LED's (they have to be white)..... maybe your local branch will have them....

You can also get number plates that have the lights behined them. Some one posted them on here before but I cant find the topic.
