how about it? could be loads of awards, such as:

- Most Interesting/Best Project
- Best Custom Modification
- Best Breakthrough Mini Club
- Mini Doctor Of The Year Award
- Most Unique Mini
- Z cars Project

etc......

The Mods and Admins could draw up a short list and members could vote for the winner! doesnt have to have amazing prizes, could just be on their membership type "TMF Award Winner 2009" or something!

i think this sounds a good idea, it could even just be for a special "Winner" type sticker or a different colour log in

If enough interest was gathered,this sounds like a good idea on paper,however like everything else will require many hours of " behind the scenes " work to formulate and control

yeah i can see where your coming from stroker, thats why i thought that something like a custom group status would be a better prize, than try and get free stuff of companies to give away!

You could also have something to go in the winners Sig. Maybe a little medel or something. I think this is a good idea.

This sounds like a good idea but i think it could get out of hand easily with the prizes side of things. So like jon said, maybe something like a medal in a signature or a special signature for the winners. Just a thought.

yea sound good, but how is the team suppose to make a short list of thousands of minis. unless you have to put your own mini up for it??

just ones that stand out in their mind, just make a note of threads they are keeping eyes on in that year (obviously threads for the right reasons, none of the SFM type threads about stealing bolts out of steering arms etc) then at the end of the year decide which was the most fitting for the awards!

It does sound like a nice idea.

Nominations should be as much a part of it and more interesting than just voting.

Perhaps some temporary new sections would be the easiest way to organise it so you can post your nomination under a category heading.

Probably one for after the show season and BH2NR.
