HI all, if you fit a timing cover with a breather do you need a spacer for the cooling fan

THANKS

Some you do and some you don't. If the breather is 'flattened' down the front face, then you shouldn't need a spacer. If it full diameter, then you do. The spacer thickness which seems to work best is 3/8".
Are you fitting a Duplex timing chain? If you are, don't forget to cut away the oil thrower flange inside the timing cover and knock out the detent in the case (if it has one).
