Sorry! Where abouts was yours? I assume those parts were the wings IIRC?
I just about put up with the caravans. I have a nice motorcycle engined Mini to stick up for me there!

Went down to the lock up yesterday and today, which resulted in an excessive amount of angle grinding!
Got rid of the main bit which was the front end. No need for that! Driverside floors out, ready for the new one to go in and extended step prepped for welding...
Unfortunately neither of these could be accomplished. The floor cant go in because there isnt enough clean exhaust tunnel to weld to, and the step cant go on as theres rust on the a-post!
With a couple of spare Minis available, Im going to salvage some metal off one and use for the van. Its only a half tunnel that I need so I dont really want to be changing the whole thing..
Sarah stripped the front subby down and that can get sand blasted and powder coated whenever - no real rush though..

Thats all for now!

Looks like a nice project, I’ve always has a soft spot for a mini van (maybe one day Lol)
And by the looks of it you’ve spotted me Lol, the silver one behind the white mini40
Here are some pictures from Gaydon...

Believe I'm parked next to this van
All I can say is you're brave but it looks savable.
Good luck!

Good luck!
