Chassis Numbers For Late Cooper Sports

How do i find out if a cooper sport is one of the last 500?

I am working on a late cooper y reg and we cant seem to find out if its one of the last 500? we need to know as it might be written off..just to find out if its worth what the customer is saying its worth.....

Theres a plaque in the glovebox if its a genuine 500.

We cant find a plaque in the glovebox? Was there any difference between cooper sport 500s and cooper sports? apart from the plaque?!

Silver roof and bonnet stipes, also black and silver interior, matching steering wheel........ Cant think :)

No difference at all, Plaque, presentation pack and vin numbers are the identifiers between 500s and the Cooper Sports (2500) produced
