hey all.

i recently signed up to paypal so someone could pay me for some bits ive sold. i put all my bank details in and once set up i got my payment and clicked withdraw so it could go into my account. when i looked yesturday it said electronic funds transfer "pending". when i looked today it had changed to "complete" so i took the bits to the postoffice and sent them off. i chacked my balance and it hasnt gone in. i first recieved the payment on tuesday. it does say it can take up to 3-5 days to transfer to my account but im just worried now as it says complete and its not gone into my account yet?

is this right?

ive also tried to phone them and its all automated which isnt in the slightest bit helpful. he said to varify my account do this but i havnt had anything to varify my account, have i lost my money?

I've known it take up to 9 working days to be transferred from Paypal to your bank account.

Yeah, I have known it to take a while to transfer, too - Unfortunately!

The money has appeared in Paypal and you have a record that you have tried to transfer it over. If it doesn't arrive in you bank by the middle of next week, get in touch with them again and show them the records that you have!

Paypal isn't ALL automated. You can get to speak to a real person. Unfortunately, they all read off the same replies from the screen so you never really get much help.

As above, it can take quite a while sometimes for the money to go from one place to another.

when you log into your paypal account there should be an option somewhere to verify your account. They usually send you email reminders about it too with a link etc.
