so i had a prang on wednesday, going too fast on a country lane, and met a bank on the left. the damage looks minor but i think its more than meets the eye there's some slight wing damage which is fixable by jacking it out, and the tracking is out slightly at the front. the part which i am querying is the rear right hand camber, which is bent in at the bottom, i replaced the camber bracket but this hasn't helped :/ the other 2 solutions are that its the radius arm thats bent or (what i'm dreading) the subframe is bent. anyone any ideas? i know you can't see the damage but to give some more info, i slammed my brakes on and they locked up, then the car went sideways with the RH back end trying to overtake the front, i hit bank on the left hand side at about 25-30 mph and slid sideways along the bank.
i'm just wondering whether the subframe would bent from that kind of impact i mean, it didn't hit the back end at all and it was only low speeds really. i'm just really hoping it won't be that.

Blimey this is about the third accident now in as many weeks. Take care out there peeps. At least you are unhurt, the mini can be repaired easily enough.

Too many accidents in the last months, and all with lovely minis..go slower guys!

i did the same into a curb a few weeks back same speed too bent radius arm and the subframe very slightly but my local garage sorted it hope you mini is back on the road again soon.

well I think you can add at least one more to that mike, daviedevil on here not long has his Mpi wrote off (cat B) only had it on the road for 5 weeks after 6 months work, poor lad. Hasten to add not his fault, and is getting a reasonable payout from it to fund the next project (luckily)

Its good hes getting a payout but it seems for every mini that gets finished and back on the road we lose another
