well my car went for its MOT today my parents took it while i was at work it went in at three and came out at 4:45 the MOT guy said it is the longest one he has done.
basically it has failed big time 5 pages long i laughed and i am gutted tax is running out so it is off the road. the woman who had it before i had a mate that did MOT's and did a bit of work on the car he sprayed it with underseal and me being a newb just went and bought it it looked imaculate now my car has a load of holes where they were poking so it looks like i will be selling but done worry i will get another one.

i am sheding a tear at the moment

keep it and spend the money on that one ? makes sense instead of spending more cash and having similar problems

hi sally take a photo of the failure sheet and upload it so we can assess the damage and give you some idea of the cost of repairs!!! you may not need to sell! ;)

It sounds salvageable to be honest, most of those a relatively easy. Better that than sell it cheap as an MOT failure and need to buy another!

Make friends with the local body guy, that's what I did :gimme:

Put some pictures up of corrosion and you'll probably get some quotes from people on here..... most non specialist garages charge an arm and a leg. How bad can it be for a '94!!

Definitely get some advice on here with pictures before you do anything - you won't get much for it as an MOT fail and if you buy a new one it could end up worse. That's the joy of Minis, they really don't have to cost a lot to sort out.

if you sell her like this you won't get alot of money from her.
but it would be a shame to scrap her...
