And the verdict is..... FAIL :thumbsup:


The good news is that it doesn't sound particularly horrendous; it failed on a split steering rack boot, and excessive play in both upper ball joints. Anyone know what parts I'd need from Minispares? At least they didn't find any serious corrosion.

Tiny is going for an MOT at 2 'O clock, I'm really nervous, not expecting her to fail but still.... ball joints used to fail my first mini every year!! That will be fine it'll pass the next one!

i need to get a pedrol pedal rubber cover thingy and mine will be ready for mot
im gonna pick up the rubber cover for the pedal from my local mini garage
and call up for the mot tomorrow afternoon
i want to do mot friday sometime i hope, so i can drive it this weekend

Well done for passing :thumbsup: Atleast you got relatively cheap repairs. When mine failed the other week it failed on the brake bios valve which im told is a special part for 1987 cars so it cost me £88.00.

I wasnt happy. Anoying thing aswell was i failed my driving test a couple of days later so now my Mini's now sat with tax and Mot and no driver:(
