I can't tell if it has the proper connector or if this is the generic version that will require you to splice the wires.

It has been mentioned on this forum that the correct Rover version works best for some reason. They may be getting scarce now.

I think if i remember correctly the bosh sensor is fitted to the mpi by default. My orginal part off my MPi was a bosh one

I bought an aftermarket fuel parts lambda sensor from my local motor factors store and it came complete with the connector to plug straight onto the loom.

Hi, it appears to be. Quoting Sprocket from the attached thread:

"Direct replacement Bosch sensors are exactly the same as the OEM item and IMHO the only ones to use, Part Number 0258 003 193"

That one has that part no, so i guess thats the right one.
