My forum name is Gibba but my real nickname is Gibbabollox. I dont really use this on forums because even though it is not meant in an offensive way some people take it the wrong way. I got this nickname back when I was at secondary school and I used to play Moto GP as Sete Gibernau and i would always knock everyone else off so people shouted Gibbabollox.

Try explaing that to the police when i get pulled over :) luckily they always laugh at it and realise no offence is met.

and that is the history of Gibba or Gibbabollox :dontgetit:

I have seen some wierd and wonderful forum names, just wondering why everyone chose what they chose :)

Mine is M1tch, as thats the number plate I want to get, my last name it Mitchell, my nickname is Mitch, so M1 TCH is what I am looking for lol unforutunatly I have seen it on a BMW M5 *sigh* lol

BGB is a shortenbed version of Bloody Good Bloke which has been my online name for years. People in forum couldnt be arsed with typing out the full thing so shortened it. It originally came from the Harry Enfield Sketch "Tim nice but dim" he once called someone "What an absolutely, thoroughly, bloody nice bloke!" and I changed it.

i use this nick for a lot of gaming. I used to have a 'proper' one but since EA et al started to make sign-up/log-in type multiplayer games the good names were always taken by the time I got around to them (generally avoiding buying at release due to bugs! boo!). I got a bit frustrated one day going thru combinations of names and numbers and just threw this in. stuck with it =)

Well, years ago in a small town called "Oil City" Pennsylvania I used to live in a big house with a bunch of my buddies/co-workers. It was a big party house and my one roommate "Curty" Poppenhouse had a bunch of CD's from bands I never heard of at the time. He was a character, he described himself as a "Nudist/Buddhist" and I always thought he was a great guy. Anyhow, he had this one CD that had a sticker on the front of it that said "And you shall know us by the Trail of Dead......". I read it and said "DUDE that is the coolest thing I have ever heard!", he explained that they were a local band from some state/town he used to live in and they were pretty heavy. So, that is how I got my screen name...cause it sounds so cool and to honor my long lost best friend "Curty". I use the same screen name on every forum I am a member of.

ive heard that band

mines just my first and middle name which i use for my photography also

Mines everchanging, because i get bored of it. But at the moment, its Knebworth 79. Knebworth 1979 was one of Led Zeppelin's iconic gigs. Of whom im a large fan and are indeed in my Display Picture, coincidentally pictured at Knebworth :D
