im not sure, but i think i read somewhere about fillited radius' on the journals

Yes i believe it is the radius on the journal, designed to spread stress over a larger area and to increase strength.

i dont see any problem with that from a grinding point of view, just means you'll be less a few rads... spose its a shame to get rid but you'd be dooing just the same if you ground your journals 20 thou and i've never heard anyone say you cant downsize an A+ crank
