if plates are worth that much, i might try selling my irish plate, and getting something more personal lol.

M222CRB suits me @ £245 especially if i can make a decent profit on mine.

My uncle owns my dream plate.

the reg i was told wasnt desireable enougth to sell by DVLA finaaly came up for auction but went out of my budget

STU 88S my surname is Stubbs so this would have been purfect, plus alot of the newer stuff cant go on older cars like minis as you cant have a reg newer than the car

Best ones I found were A1NDY and AND1Y I think, but both around 25k, and plates with my initials on them seem to be stupidly more expensive than anybody else's initials as well

AJB 199A wasnt too bad, but on a plate it would say AJB199A and itd look like I was trying to be 'gangsta' '_'

So mine says HI ANDY instead (if you use your imagination or squint)

that is only going for about £100k I think. You can get one close to that for about £6k.

I'm saving up £2.3k for BA51ARD for the mondeo. I wanted C4RYS for the mini but was priced at £275k ouch.

My plate on my car (Audi not Mini) is M44 KTS, (Mark Thomas Sheridan) or can be spaced (not legally though) as M44K TS Bought for £250 for my 21st, now worth a hell of alot more according to one valuation i've had, not that i'd ever sell it.

I've also got M444K JS on my work van, it's supposed to stand for Mark - JS Security, you get the idea when the illegal plates are on as the van is fully sign written up like so...

You can just make it out on the middle van, my dad's is JS 02 SEC and my brothers is L333 JSS (Lee)


In the past, a guy i was speaking to at a mini show was convinced the Mini had a private plate, (H338 NOG) He wouldn't have it that it was the original one!
