No other systems, just a new straight steel tube. the simpler the better.

Im guessing you mean a twin exit? If so then which manifold you use isnt going to make much difference.

Whats a "cone type" exit?

excuse me sorry its quite early in the morning.

anyway yeah i mean twin exit yours is just a straight tube i see, must be loud then >_<, im going to try and get a few curves in mine.

the freeflow manifold is just a preference of mine, anyway its hard to explain but its a back box with

instead of

--¦____¦---

Ahh I get it. Mine has the square type box, with all the bends in the same place as a standard system, but with bigger pipes.

Its actually not too loud, I think it has quite a sporty sound like a clasic rally car.

So Im still in New Zealand, but while I have been here my dad has been doing some work on the Mini for me.

Its been in the paint shop for touching up and polishing, recieved a new grille, a set of spax adjustable shocks and some halogen headlights.

While it was in the body shop they found a rust spot come through the roof, which was strange as it is a new bodyshell, so the paint was stripped back, repaired and has now been re-painted.

Some air bubbles appeared in the fiberglass arches too...... not happy with the quality of those! But I will have to keep them until I get back and can find some better quality ones. I would like to find someone that could make some carbon fbre ones for me. Anyway the arches were sanded down and re-painted. They also trimmed back the front of the wing a little more as the wheels were rubbing.

So the exterior is 99% done now, just need some washer jets and mirrors.

When I get back I'll be taking it to the Ace Cafe in November!

Here is the link to Facebook where you can see all the photos of the project.
