hello - Am Gogobroom Aka Dan

I have had 5 Mini's in the past but that was 10 years plus ago - currently drive a 2.0 V6 Mazda 323F and am looking for a Mini project -

Searched on Google for a Mini Forum and up popped this one - The site is looking good

what type of project are you looking for? a runner you can do up or a full restore??

Thank you ... and how did you guess I was a Northener living in the South ?

I havent fully decided what I am after yet - All is money dependant

Clubman 1275GT - needing work
engine swapped Mini needing little work other than tidying
or full restoration ...

I havent got any welding skills but know a man that does, which is handy

I think I am after an MOT failure or similar with the hope of getting it running, modifying MOT'ing and running next year -

All down to money and what I see and wether I like it

Previous minis include - engine swapped 1300 MG Metro, old early 70's 1000CC with 1275 head, and a few other 1000cc models, nothing spectacular - but great driving

tipcat you getting another mini ?

I already have another one... a 1982 Auto I'm wanting to convert to manual... the blue beast of Nurburgring legend won't make it next year (at least not with me at the wheel!), but I'll be there in a tomato-red HLE! (hopefully... next year IS a long time from now!)

Correction to the above post

I have now purchased a 1972 Mini Clubman

It is in need of full restoration - I don't know if I am up for the job but I will give it a good try - hopefully pick her up Thursday this week :grin: hehe I feel like a teenager again
