can i just ask why?

if it was a GTI or a rallye then yeah... but its a diesel...

Because im a car Enthusiast and i want to, i could'nt have a gti would'nt be able to afford to insure it anyway this is'nt mine it's the missises i have my mini but still like other cars to toy with.

i see... so you wont be declaring the modifications then, makes the insurance cheaper...

Thats my buisness, if you dont like what you see dont bother posting here simples isn't it.

Cheers for everyone elses motivating comments.

Look dont want to be falling out with you mate but you seem to be comeing across abit strong, as for the mods insurance will be told in the end yes, but ive got more ideas in mind for it, if i phoned the insurance everytime i changed the look in a different way they would have a field day with admin charges.
Me delocking the boot and the doors and fitting the alarm makes it harder for theives to get in it and get away with it, plus if i said to you why you bothering with that mini it's not a gti you would'nt like it, gti dont mean nothing other than my cars faster than yours haha, child play.
And as for chav talk, yes im a chav so what, does that not make me human, and that chav comment before is the first from me on this forum since i joined i
have respect mate.

If you want to pm me to sort this childs play out feel free to pm me.

i have no problem with what you are doing... i have respect for body modifications and tuning capabilities... its just when cars look like they should go fast and they don't... its just... you know...

Well mate, I admire the enthusiasm, but, like the others... I think it was fine before you started.. and now worth about, um £200.. but each to their own I suppose!!!

just the bonnet going black is it?

have to say don't mind what car it is along as the things done to it look good and this will
saw a ford puma lowered, bigger tyres, stripped out interior and bucket seats. with black bonnet boot and roof
not everyone thing but i liked it.

and to the right person it could be worth something more

I had two 106 GTi's, a new one back in 1998 and an 'R' plate last year. They're cracking cars- handle fantastically and go like a rocket :)

You could try and sniff out a set of GTi alloys, they look bigger on the non-GTi cars because you don't have the arch extensions. Also the full leather is lovely, but probably quite pricey 2nd hand. Either that or just sit back and enjoy the fuel economy.

I'm trying to sniff out one of these cars for my long runs to Canterbury every day, it's killing the Mini.

Yes shorty bonnet will be black with the rest of the body blue, same shade as my mini as i have some left over.

Will be deffinatly be haveing some alloys maybe ford cosworth style or vtr wheels and sprayed black, for the interior it wll be changed for a black one, i would go leather but not really my taste to be honest, cheers for the idea's anyway.
