little update but more to come over the next couple of weeks hopefully

went into moss's on the weekend and came back with some goodies, got some new wheel bearing and ball joints plus radius and top suspension arm bearing kits

first i did the hubs



then did the front suspension arm

really like the front end!!! coming along really nicely

right its about time i updated this, not worked on it for awhile due to funds (other car needed some love) weather and me needing to pull my finger out, not that i've pulled it out heres the update so far

found a hole by my side window next to the b piller, it was covered in filler so when i gave it a poke it went through


then it started to rain but thats wasn't going to stop me


so here it is now




then decide it was time to tackel the boot floor


i fitted one of my spare doors but no picture of that

got some new parts through the post the other day

also ive got a roll cage to get soon

well not much of a update apart form the mini is now in a mates unit so i can now work on it over winter also got some more bits for it

got these for under £20


and these came today made the most of the vat free day at mini spares



there just pure porn lowered coilover kit only cost me £380 for the hat and the coilovers we FREE lol

went down the unit after work removed all the windows, top and bottom dash rails and cut out the rear bins and back seat over hang

I still can't believe this is going on the road! I had a look at it the other week when you first moved the car in to Craig's unit, there's a hell of a lot of work there! Will keep you entertained!

slight up date pretty much all the welding is done and seam sealing, now the arches have been tubed and the boot floor made and fitted also undersealed, stripped inside and sound deading removed, now time for pictures





















also could this be moved to vauxuall build section because its now going to be a 2.0 8v

My tank and cage came the other day i put the cage together inside the car but its not fitted properly yet also need to turret my rear shocker mounts

Great build, really like this. Carbs look intriguing, some kind of homebrew twin setup? or am I missing something?
