How old do you have to be to drive in Germany?
Oopsie, sorry Joycey, I didnt see your post! I didnt know if it was 18 or 21!
from yahoo answers................ "Actually in some rural areas it is still written as 14, but officially across the country, as well as the general EU, 18."
I'll write a few lines to that tomorrow Just too lazy to do it right now (and check back with my old driving instructor first to make sure I'm telling you no BS) Would be a shame if we can't get the youngsters to drive on theyr own to the IMM
Oh - and the youngest age to drive something is 16 And it's a traktor limited to ~18mph. Or a moped

just need to sort out an engine rebuild and a respray first because loosing 1litre of oil every 100miles might get a bit costly
oh and the respray is because its covered in said oil
ps.i might be accompanied by a minx in her mini, fingers crossed

You'r allowed to drive in Germany only if your 18 (and have a license of course ).
Those who are 17 can't legaly drive theyr cars here. Unfortunately...
Theyr license is not valid in Germany.
Bugger - I had a little hope it's transferable in some way - it isn't.
Cheers,
Jan
PS: See you there Will be my first IMM.
