its been a while. but i've finally sourced a good turbo engine!
Heres a lil picture story and i'l keep ya'll updated as i go!
I'l keep updating the post as i go!
Heres the engine when i originally picked it up. Oily and nasty lookinG!
When i got home I stripped a few simple parts and gave the engine a good wipe down!
Cleaned up the turbo and im really pleased with how it come up! Looks like new!
Note the chocolate borubon in the last pic. I strongly recommend this method. Found if you rub them into the turbos they come up nice and spangly!

wow..... its been a long time!!! lol
After pretending to listen to Maxmini everyday about how he is re-building this, and cleaning that... i have finally decided to get my lazy arse into gear and sort out the old dog!!!
I've got pretty much most of the parts i need to get the mini back on the road, but due to one of my other cars taking up most of my time over the last few months, i just havent 1. had the time to sort out the mini, and 2. what time i have had i;ve just wanted to spend down the pub anyways!
BUT!!! Over the christmas period off of work, me and my mate are determined to get the engine in the old dog and maybe re-paint it a nice mat black
The cars getting a bit patchy now, so if the engine all goes smoothly, i may give her a quick lick of paint!
I'l let ya all know how it goes!
