Note the chocolate borubon in the last pic. I strongly recommend this method. Found if you rub them into the turbos they come up nice and spangly! ^_^

yeah the dash looks 100 times better now, as i;ve lost all the wiring and the cd player is in the correct place! lol

Just about to go finish off cleaning the gearbox, then it should be ready to build back up! :withstupid:

wow..... its been a long time!!! lol

After pretending to listen to Maxmini everyday about how he is re-building this, and cleaning that... i have finally decided to get my lazy arse into gear and sort out the old dog!!!

I've got pretty much most of the parts i need to get the mini back on the road, but due to one of my other cars taking up most of my time over the last few months, i just havent 1. had the time to sort out the mini, and 2. what time i have had i;ve just wanted to spend down the pub anyways!

BUT!!! Over the christmas period off of work, me and my mate are determined to get the engine in the old dog and maybe re-paint it a nice mat black :bah:

The cars getting a bit patchy now, so if the engine all goes smoothly, i may give her a quick lick of paint!

I'l let ya all know how it goes! :xmas:

lol. yeah it has been quite a while since i touched the car... but i've found the love again and am aiming to have the engine in by xmas and hopefully have a ticket on it by the end of january!

Shes only going to be a track *woman of ill repute* so im not too worried about farting about with getting every lil bit of rust out, so fingers crossed!!!
