haha try before you buy bedbugs! Awesome!!
Can't see what you posted Roofless... with any of these caravany things if they've got the pump where you just attach a bottle of liquid to use through your taps, then you can put anything in them! Such as home brew cider on foot tap

Teardrop forum.

Don't own one but you got me thinking about building one now, searching for plans as I speak.
Did find this pic though whilst looking
It's called a bedbug and looks proper smart

The max BRAKED mini tow weight is 404kg with a max hitch weight of 40kg (official rover figures), i dont know of any caravan out there that is braked and is under that weight (laden remember), i personally dont feel that a 400kg caravan will phase a 1275 engined mini at all, normally you would say that you dont tow more than 85% of the kerbweight of your car regardless of the legal tow limit, this ensures that what your towing is stable and does not also strain the car, the 85% rule does not apply to the mini due to its max tow weight as the 404kg is less than 85% so gives a good indication that a sub 404kg van will be a nice tow.
There seems to be a nice little market for a sub 404kg braked caravan within the mini circles possibly in kit form?

Pretty sure we would rather have an Eriba than a teardrop.
Wouldnt you get more room sleeping in the Delica?!
Got any pics of your delica? Has it got any mods at all?

The photo showing three caravans with minis. The vans are made by freedom, the ones shown are microlites and are one of the lightest full size caravans you can get. They come in 2,3 or 4 berth models. They are fibreglass which explains the weight and have a galvanised chassis, they are made from one moulded unit so therefore do not leak and are covered with a fleece like material so are nice and warm. They measure 6'2" wide x 9ft long and have an unladen weight of 580kgs. The microlite comes with a pop up roof which extends to approx 7ft headroom but measures approx 6ft when down or you can get a freedom sunseeker which is a full height caravan, also slightly longer so I guess will weigh slightly more. I have recently purchased a 15 year old microlite and paid £1000 including all accessories, new awning, bottles, water containers etc..... and it is perfect. Anyway I hope you find this information informative although I do not know what the towing ratio is on a mini, I do however tow with a fiesta.
